It had somehow escaped my notice (until now, duh) that D’Angelo Russell was only shooting 30 percent from three this season. Now, if you know me, you know that the one thing I love to do more than anything is rag on players for sucking at shooting threes. Especially if that’s supposed to be one of their strengths. Which makes it weird that I would miss something like this. I’m always on the lookout for underperformers.
Maybe if he wasn’t so busy sowing dissent in every locker room he ends up in and snitching every snitch he can snitch, maybe he could find some time to get in the gym and work on that perimeter jumper, am I right? HA. HAHA. Take THAT, D’Angelowshootingpercentage Bustell. WOOOO!
As a sidenote, you will notice that there are only 20 points worth of D’Angelo buckets in this video, while the title advertises 22. That is not my bad, that is the scorekeeper’s bad for crediting him with a lob slam that Jarrett Allen converted. I was excited to see it too, because Russell isn’t much of a dunker, but I was led astray by the deceitful acts of the scorekeepers. They didn’t get the assister right either, it was just a shoddy all-around performance.
