Normally, when a team is down by three with only a few seconds left, they don’t mess around with “passing the ball”, but KCP thought otherwise and his team didn’t even get a shot up. I don’t know why he chose that moment to pass, he’d had plenty of success earlier by doing the exact opposite of passing, which is shooting.
8 threes doesn’t even feel like that many for him, which is both a good and bad thing. Good, because it means that he can sometimes hit tons of threes, and bad, because it means that he should be better than he is. His streakiness is well known to Lakers fans by this point, so if they’re still mad about it, they should find something else to be mad about (my nomination: Jack Nicholson).
