Watch the clock at the 0:52 point of this video. Notice how it’s not ticking down the seconds even though the ball is obviously in play? It was that way for about thirty seconds of game time and I don’t know why nobody did anything to fix it. I mean, it’s plainly obvious to me that Nikola Vucevic was using his SORCEROUS POWERS OF TIME MANIPULATION to prevent the clock from decrementing. He did this so he would have more time to PAD his STATS. But the professional time-wizard who operates the clock should have been able to counteract Vucci Mane’s sorcery with his own mystical powers to ensure that the clock continued to run smoothly.
Instead, Vucevic was able to successfully pad his stats, scoring a field goal without having any time elapse from the clock. In theory, if he was able to maintain his concentration well enough to halt the flow of time for extended periods, he could score a hundred or a thousand points in a game simply because there would be nobody to say “hey, the clock ran out and the game’s over now, you have to stop scoring points”. That’s the nefarious goal behind Vucevic’s act of wizardry, and, in the opinion of this professional NBA observer, it was completely out of line and he should be faced with a fine if not a suspension.
