Cedi Osman scored a career-high eighteen points on a career-high eighteen field goal attempts in a career-high 39 minutes of playing time. Having the same amount of points as attempts is never a good sign, but it’s the last game of the regular season, and Osman just wanted a taste of what it’s like to be a first option in the NBA, so I’m going to let it slide for now.
The question now: does Osman factor into the Cavs’ playoff rotation at all? Rodney Hood is allegedly injured, so that should open up some minutes at small forward while Lue shuffles people around to fill in the gap. I sort of hope that Osman has a breakout performance in the playoffs and cement himself in the national consciousness, but it’s more likely that he gets seven minutes per game and doesn’t do anything meaningful in that time.
Tip to Cedi from one bro to another bro: if you want to cement yourself in the national consciousness, you gotta date a Kardashian and then film yourself in sexual congress with another woman and then leak that video all over the internet. It’s guaranteed to work.
