Remember at the beginning of the season when I was getting extremely annoyed by having to make constant Rodney McGruder highlight videos? Actually, you might not remember that because nobody was watching those videos in the first place. And that was part of the problem. McGruder kept scoring in the mid to upper teens and Spoelstra was playing him too much and it was just a very ugly situation overall.
I bring this up because I am starting to feel the same resentment towards Justise “Bustise Bustlow” Winslow. Ever since Goran Dragic died, Bustlow has been putting up really nice numbers. It seems like every other game, he’s putting up a performance worthy of a highlight video. I’m fine with a dude having good games every once in a while, but the personal sacrifices I have made just to get these videos out the door are becoming too much. Whenever I see Bustlow have a good start to a game, I start praying to all the major deities to please intercede on my behalf and prevent Bustslow from scoring any points or racking up any more assists. Sometimes the deities listen to me and intervene (as is their duty), but most of the time, Bustlow just keeps accumulating stats until I have no choice but to make a video.
Can’t the Heat just trade for Jeremy Lin or Dennis Smith Jr. or Reggie Jackson or something? Then they could play the newly-acquired PG thirty minutes a game and they can slot Bustlow at whatever position he was at before and he can go back to sucking. That would be great. Does anybody have Pat Riley’s number? Or even an email address?
