People of the future (of which there will be millions, if not billions) will look back on Jae Crowder’s decade-plus-long career and wonder how the heck he scored 14 points per game for a good team (the Celtics) two years in a row. Already, it feels kind of weird, like it never actually happened, and we’re only a few years after the occurrence.
It also doesn’t really feel like he’s averaging 12 points per game this year, and that’s even worse, because that’s literally happening right now. Maybe I just don’t like Crowder? Is that why I’m feeling like he should never score any points? Because that’s definitely true. I don’t like him. I don’t like his hair (I used to pretend I did, maybe it looked softer back then now it looks all hard and crusty), I don’t like his attitude, and I don’t like his dad either.
So maybe other people will look back on his career and be like “that makes sense, he was a pretty good player all things considered”. But I will never think that, and I’m gonna spread some targeted propaganda towards the Philippines so that they never think it either. Maybe Indonesia too, but I’d have to have them learn that the NBA exists first.
