Terrence Ross 24 Points/6 Threes Full Highlights (1/16/2019)

The trade deadline is coming right up (actually i just checked and it’s still almost a month away???? wtf i want trades), but there’s nothing in the CBA that says that the Magic can’t trade Terrence Ross RIGHT NOW. I also looked, and there doesn’t seem to be a rule that covers a team trading a player but then fudging the paperwork so it looks like they got traded three weeks prior, thus negating all the performances they acquired between the “real” trade date and the “REAL” trade date and transferring those performances to their new team, affecting the final scores of all those games and changing wins into losses and losses into wins. Got all that? There’s no rule or paragraph or bulletpoint or anything that covers that scenario. So the Magic could do it. With Terrence Ross.

Who, I should remind you, once choked away the chance to have the best scoring game in Raptors franchise history by missing a free throw.

Unlike some teams *coughMAVsplutterERICKS* with some players *wheezeDEEsnortESSbelchJAY*, the Magic are doing a really nice job of showcasing Ross to prospective trade parters. He has three 20-burgers in his last five games, and a team looking to trade for him will see that (and his 50-burger from a million years ago) and think that he can be a consistent 18 ppg scorer for them if given the opportunity. And who’s to say that they’re wrong?
