Malik Beasley 22 Points/1 Touchdown Full Highlights (2/2/2019)

Happy Super Bowl Day everybody! For those not in the know (Euros, commies, comsymps), Super Bowl Day is an American holiday to celebrate gluttony and violence. The centerpiece of the holiday is the eponymous “Super Bowl”, the championship game for the sport of football. American football, that is. We don’t care about the other kinds (although my season spent enjoying Australian rules football was well spent, I hope Collingwood is still doing good).

I myself don’t plan on watching the game, because I’ll have NBA-related projects to work on (those -ilations don’t compile themselves), but I do plan to engage in the tradition of eating tons of chicken wings. Wings and highlights don’t mix, last time I tried to mix them I ended up with a keyboard covered in buffalo sauce, but I’m going to try again anyway. I just love god-damn wings, man. So good. I eat them all the time anyway even when there’s no overarching American tradition to do so.

In honor of this holy day, Malik Beasley caught a perfect pass from Nikola Jokic for a touchdown to help seal the game for the Nuggets. Timberwolves fans were not happy about it, their rumblings of discontent almost shifting to outright boos. That’s fine. They can boo all they want, but it doesn’t undo the fact that their whole team was too busy loafing around to defend the guy running down the court as fast as he could.
