20 points, 10 buckets, final destination. There is nothing in this video besides those 10 field goals arranged in chronological order starting from the first quarter and ending in the fourth quarter. No replays. No defense. No assists. Just buckets gotten through the actions of one Deandre Ayton, king of bucket-getters.
A video in this fashion of all the makes by Ayton this season, a so called “bucket-ilation” would be pretty sick, but I don’t know if it’s going to happen. Those things take time, and they end up being sorta monotonous. Like it’s just too much buckets. Such a thing should not be possible, but I can’t even watch the Karl-Anthony Towns rookie-season bucket-ilation without falling asleep five minutes in, and that thing was like 40 minutes long.
But in a short burst like this, it’s really fun. A tightly wound, compact highlight package. Maybe it could’ve used a replay for when Ayton rode Gobert like a pony on an alley-oop dunk, but I couldn’t find one and I wasn’t about to scour through the whole game looking for one.
