Brandon Ingram 31 Points Full Highlights (3/1/2019)

It’s that time of year again. The All-Star festivities have come and gone, and with their departure Brandon Ingram can begin his annual post-All-Star-break surge. His point totals in those past five games: 27, 29, 32, 23, and 31. Those are some nice numbers. Those are the kind of numbers you can point to and say, “wow, LeBron must be really washed up if he can’t even lead a team who also has an 18 point per game 21-year-old to a playoff spot”. That’s, actually, what I’m saying right now. I just said it out loud, and it felt dirty, but also true.

Never mind that all the advanced stats paint a picture of a dude who doesn’t help his team win much. We’re going with the eye test here, and the eye test tells me that he was hitting hella midrange jimbos this game, and midrange jimbos are my favorite kind of shot because no one wants to shoot them anymore. The eye test was also telling me that if the Lakers bench didn’t have Mo Wagner on it everyone would’ve killed each other by now. That dude is so positive.

If Ingram keeps this up for the rest of the season, I’m going to really have to think about his eligibility for my channel. Or even if he doesn’t, really. He’s the second overall pick, averaging a really nice amount of points, on the most famous team in the league, is there any danger of him not getting enough attention? No. Heck, I considered just not making this video and tweeting something like “Braindead Ingrandma has graduated and now I don’t have to watch his wonky jumper anymore if I don’t feel like it”. Because it is a wonky jumper. That’s why his free-throws don’t go in like they should.
