If you want an illustration of how consistent a player Bojan “The Croat-Magnon” Bogdanovic is this season, here’s one: Bogdanovic has scored in double-digits in 58 of his 64 games this season. He’s scored above twenty in twenty-five of those. No matter what his teammates are doing, no matter which of them are hot in a particular game and which are cold, Bogdanovic goes out there and does his thing: getting flabby, white BUCKETS.
In my personal life I am rarely so consistent. The only things I can be counted on to do on a night-in, night-out basis are make highlight videos and consume Pop Tarts. I can’t even be consistent with how I type “Pop Tarts”; is it Pop Tarts, Poptarts, PopTarts, or Pop-Tarts? This is just one example of the chronically inconsistent fashion by which I live my life. It’s nice to know that there are some people in the world who are workmanlike in their approach to the duties of their life, because I definitely am not. On a side note, I ran out of clean plates six weeks ago and I now eat my Pop-Tarts out of Japurri’s cat bowl because it’s the only clean thing in my place. PopTarts lose a little something when they’ve absorbed the taste of wet cat food.
Bogdanovic has stepped up in the absence of Victor Oladipo, and it seems to me that it his by his efforts alone that the Pacers are staying afloat as well as they are. It’s too late in the season for me to disqualify players from my channel, but Bogdanovic would only have to average one or two more points per game before I started considering his removal from my channel. Luckily, he’s in his prime right now and will probably never play as well as he did this season, so Bogdanovic highlights should be a fixture on DTB for years to come.
