Since I’m pretty much out of things to say about Terrence Ross, instead I’ll say some things about the guy who he just reminded me of: Terrence Williams. What happened to that dude anyway? He’s only 31 years old right now, so he should still be in the league, but he hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2012-13 season. His rookie season was spent on that 12-win New Jersey Nets squad, which must have broken him and ruined his career.
Williams hasn’t played since 2015, when he tried to join the infamous “AmeriLeague” that turned out to be a huge scam. Now he’s sitting on his couch eating Doritos and playing X-Box probably. I bet he watches that Big3 league sometimes and thinks about lacing up the sneakers again, then just watches old Fresh Prince DVD’s for ten hours straight.
Meanwhile, if Terrence Ross wants to eat Doritos and play X-Box and watch Fresh Prince all day, he has to wait until the offseason to do it. He’s busy right now being one of the best sixth men in the league. That doesn’t leave a lot of time for hanging out at home and getting fat while lamenting a wasted career.
