Robin Lopez 20 Points Full Highlights (3/12/2019)

The Chicago Bulls commentary team seems to be convinced that the Bulls don’t go to Robin Lopez enough for scoring purposes. After compiling enough recent Fropez videos, I have to say that I agree with them. Every time I see Fropez, he’s dominating defenders with his imposing size and deliberate moves. His hook shot is pretty much the wettest hook shot in the league, and it seems like he can get that shot any time he wants against any defender he wants.

The Bulls were marginalizing Fropez pretty hard to start the season; through the first four months, he averaged around five or six points per game (I blame Wendell Carter Jr.). However, in February, Fropez’s fortunes flipped, and he averaged fifteen points per game. Now he’s carrying over that strong February into March, proving that he can function as a primary scoring threat even if his teammates and coaches don’t treat him that way.

While the Bulls’ commentary team was right about Fropez’s teammates needing to get Fropez more involved in the offense, Stacey King was totally out of line comparing Fropez to both Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Hakeem Olajuwon. Even DTB on his most hyperbolic days does not make such outrageous comparisons.
