The big story of this game was the Charlotte Hornets going on a 30-5 run to close out the game and win by seven against the Celtics. Unfortunately for my ability to snag low-hanging fruit to use as description material, Miles Bridges wasn’t really involved directly in the comeback. He did have his best-ever game as a pro up to this point, but he scored his twentieth point with seven minutes to go in the game and his team still down by twenty-ish.
At most, Bridges was involved with the comeback by playing defense. But, as anybody who knows me will know, I do not care about defense, and I do not care about including defensive highlights in my videos. If there are Hornets fans who are offended by my insinuations, they are welcome to combine my clips of Bridges’ scoring prowess with clips of their own which show Bridges (allegedly) playing defense, then upload the video to YouTube with a video description attacking my supposed purveyance of “Full Highlights”.
Meanwhile, I’m over here thinking about how Miles Bridges is Alonzo Gee 2.0 with the exact same amount of dunnkage. That’s not an insult to Bridges. It’s a compliment. Gee was a decent starter for a little while; Bridges is already at that level even though he’s been in the league less than a year. With time, he can become Alonzo Gee 5.0. Do you know how good Alonzo Gee 5.0 would be? Hella good. It would be like Khris Middleton 0.7 with more dunks.
