Stanley Johnson 17 Points Full Highlights (4/3/2019)

After starting his Pelicans career off disastrously, Stanley Johnson has picked it up a little bit. Remember, we’re talking about offense here. Defense, schmefense. He’s probably still good on that side of the ball, just like he’s always been, but do I care? No. Do I have any way of caring? No. Not until the NBA implements my idea of “defensive points”, because big point totals are literally the only way to grab my attention. There used to be other ways, but I am done with women forever so those ways don’t work anymore.

Yeah, Johnson has starting scoring the ball sometimes. It used to be scoring the ball never, right after he got traded, so this improvement has to be a welcome sight for whatever Pelicans fans remain. Check out the move 0:20 of the video. Doesn’t that move seem like something a good offensive player would do? Maybe not Kobe, but maybe MarShon Brooks? It does to me. That was a serious NBA move. It doesn’t make up for all his deficiencies scoring the rock, because coaches would rather you be able to finish layups and hit threes over taking swaggy iso jimbos, but it was still nice. I could watch that one three or four more times before getting bored.
