Bogdan Bogdanovic was definitely NOT going to qualify for a highlight video until he picked up an additional assist and additional bucket in the final two minutes of the game. It would be one thing if the game had been close and his steady, Serbian on-court presence was required to guide his team to victory, but the Kings were already up by twelve when these things happened. Against some teams, a twelve-point lead with a minute left would feel tenuous. The Cleveland Cavaliers are not one of those teams.
So Bogdanovic gets his video, the Serbs of the world are made slightly happier, and I’m sitting here feeling slightly discontented because I was looking forward to a quiet night of not making highlights. Since I don’t know how to do anything with my free time other than make highlight videos, I was just going to stare at the wall while petting Japurri, but damn it, I was looking forward to my wall-staring. And this dude whose first name is the same as his last name had to go and ruin everything for me by getting garbage-time stats when he’s not a garbage-time player.
To make myself feel better, I’m going to imagine the insane view counts I would get if both Bogdan Bogdanovic and Nemanja Bjelica had triple-doubles in the final game of the season. The internet in Serbia would go down from everybody trying to get to my channel. It’s making me all warm inside just thinking about it.
