Johnathan Williams 17 Points/7 Dunks Full Highlights (4/4/2019)

When the Lakers got outscored by the Warriors 39-12 in the opening quarter of play, I thought to myself “This isn’t gonna be pretty. Bring out the snacks!” While I did indeed bring out my snacks and consume them, I didn’t enjoy them any more than I usually do, because the Lakers actually outscored the Warriors through the remaining three quarters and only lost by eighteen points, a very respectable margin of defeat considering how badly the first quarter went for them.

Those snacks would have been so much tastier if I had gotten to eat them while watching the LeLakers score sixty points in regulation. My glee at watching the Lakers do horribly in the wake of the roster construction that Magiclinka foisted upon LeBron (with LeBron himself complicit in the horrible roster construction) would have mingled with the salty, fatty flavor of my potato chips to create a viewing/eating experience bordering on orgasmic. Instead, my chips just tasted like chips. Chips are tasty, but they’re not orgasmic, unless there is a type of chips that is orgasmic that I don’t know about (if there is please tell me I want to know).

Johnathan Williams was the single bright spot for the Lakers last night, scoring seventeen points (one off his career high) and generally looking much more competent than the dumb-dumbs he had to share the court with. Of course, it’s easy to look competent when all you’re doing is receiving passes for dunks, but it’s not his fault that he’s good at dunking.
