Mike Scott 22 Points/6 Threes Full Highlights (4/4/2019)

This, to you, the ignorant viewer, probably looks like a pretty good performance by Mike Scott. 22 points, 18 of those points coming from the 6 threes he hit, nothing wrong with that at all, you think. Snort. Guffaw. Watch this video and educate yourself before coming to such hasty conclusions.

You will quickly see that his first three doesn’t count, because he banked it in. And not only did he bank it in, but still almost rolled out before hitting the backboard AGAIN and finally dropping. The Bucks had something similar happen with one of Khris Middleton’s threes, and that one doesn’t count either. I’m not just trying to pick on the 76ers.

And if you dare to continue watching, you will see that his second three doesn’t count either, because he front-rimmed it and it went WAY up in the air before settling in the bucket. Three-pointers only count if they go right in the net. In Europe, these bricks would be fair game to be plucked off the rim thanks to their lax goaltending rules. So why should they count over here in America?

The net result of all of this is that this video becomes “Mike Scott 16 Points Full Highlights”, the “4 Threes” not even being noteworthy enough to include in the title. A decent performance by Scott, but that’s all. Not even reaching the level of “good” like you so stupidly thought.
