T.J. Leaf Career High 28 Points Full Highlights (4/10/2019)

Yes, T.J. Leaf got a career high in points. That part is indisputable. 28 points is mathematically more than any other amount of points he has scored in an individual game in the NBA. But I just don’t know if this video is a career high in terms of making an entertaining highlight video.

The problem here is, this video doesn’t display a lot of “skill” plays from Leaf. Sure, he makes the “right” play on all these layups and basket cuts, but it’s not like he’s hitting Dirk-style turnaround jumpers or throwing down poster dunks or doing five crossovers and then hitting a stepback three. He’s just making layups. Layups and one jumper and one semi-decent post move that was the clearest representation of “skill” in the entire video.

Bottom line, I thought this video would be cooler than it is, but I can’t even honestly recommend that you watch it over literally any other video on my channel. This might seem I’m picking on Leaf a little bit, and maybe I am, but I do understand that not every player can be a highlight factory every single night. Some just get things done in an understated, workmanlike way. Like T.J. Leaf.

When it comes with my disappointment with the quality of this video, one could even say I’m in…disbeLEAF! GET IT?
