Devonte’ Graham Career High 24 Points Full Highlights (10/25/2019)

Two games, two career-highs in points for Devonte’ Graham. You losers can get as excited as you want for your “Kawhi”s and your “LaVine”s and your “Porzingis”s. I’m going to be over here getting super hyped about a sophomore PG who is balling out as HARD and as FAST as anyone in the league right now. If you want to join me, you can. There’s plenty of space on this hype train. But you’d better hop on quick, because once the word gets out, it’s going to be standing room only, and it’s gonna be the kind of standing room only where you can’t really breathe that well because of how packed in everyone is.

I swear this dude doesn’t miss from three. Watching my highlight vids of him (and of everybody, actually), you won’t actually see any misses that he does have, but rest assured, you’re seeing the bulk of his attempts because almost all of them go through. He was 6 of 7 from deep in the season opener, and he followed that up with 6 of 8 tonight. Stephen Curry who? That’s the question I’m asking, and not only am I asking it, I’m asking it UNIRONICALLY, because I literally don’t know of any NBA players by that name anymore.

According to basketball-reference’s MVP tracker, as of last night, Graham had a 4.3 percent chance of winning MVP this year, 7th out of all players, just ahead of Kyrie Irving. That chance might go down because he doesn’t have a 100 percent winning rate anymore, but it also might go up, because his three-point percentage combined with his three-point volume is utterly unheard of in NBA history.
