Kyle Korver 14 Points Full Highlights (11/6/2019)

Kyle Korver is the only player from the 2003 draft still playing other than, of course, LeBron James. It’s a testament to how many roids LeBron has taken over the years (I estimate that his body is 45 percent roids at this point) that he still looks ready to play another decade while Korver looks to be on his last legs.

Korver’s kinda looked like that for a while, though, and he’s still here, so maybe that’s just how he always was and I never noticed. Teams don’t need him to do anything besides shoot, so he can avoid a lot of the wear and tear a typical player would incur by doing things like: going into the paint, jumping, playing defense, or making contact with opposing players at all. He does run around a lot, but as any runner will tell you, running is easy and low-impact until your knees randomly decide to start protesting.

The Bucks wanted this guy a few years ago but their contract offer was matched by the Hawks. I was disappointed then, but at that point in the Bucks’ history, there was no way we were going to use him effectively. Now, Budenholzer is the coach, who has a proven track record of using Korver effectively, and it’s working out this season. Just put him in for a few minutes, see if he can hit some threes, and don’t worry about his defense.
