Bogdan Bogdanovic 20 Points/5 Assists Full Highlights (11/8/2019)

Looking around the league, there are a lot of players who are well and truly sucking right now. Just a whole bunch of them, every team has one or two or maybe a whole roster full of them (sound familiar, Kings fans?). Just because of the way basketball is, some of those players will start playing better and we’ll forget all about their rough start. And some of those players will just suck for the whole year and then find themselves balling for some B-tier league in Germany next year.

With this second good game in a row for Bogdan Bogdanovic, there is some hope that he is breaking out of his early-season slump. Which is good, because I really like seeing him in the NBA and don’t want him to go back to Europe just yet. He’s spent enough time over there, selfishly robbing us of primo Bogdanovic NBA playoffs moments.

But some players are still spinning their wheels without going anywhere. And I’m thinking, if the SSS (Serbian Superteam in Sacramento) is going to happen, things need to be executed. Nikola Jokic’s trade value will never be lower. The time to strike is now, while Denver is weak. They’re winning without Jokic even being his usual MVP-type self, they would entertain a trade deal that was enticing enough. How about Richaun Holmes, Harrison Barnes, Marvin Bagley, and a whole bunch of picks? I don’t know if they contracts add up, if they don’t, the Kings can throw in anyone they want whose name isn’t Bogdanovic or Bjelica. Obviously if you traded one of those dudes for Jokic you would have the same amount of Serbians that you had before, falling short of true SSS status.
