Marko Guduric 17 Points Full Highlights (11/13/2019)

I’m sensing that there are a lot of people out there who don’t realize that Marko Guduric in the league. Admittedly, I didn’t realize he was in the league until I saw a boxscore with his name in it, and it still took me a bit because I deliriously thought that Dan Gadzuric was back in the NBA and on the Grizzlies. Somehow, Guduric’s signing went unnoticed by almost everybody. I’m sure most Serbians are aware, but since it’s the Grizzlies, one of the worst teams in the league, the signing of a random undrafted Euro didn’t capture many American’s attentions.

This situation feels like the old days of random Euro signings, back in the 90’s. Where some random Euro with a barely-pronounceable name would just appear on the roster, play a few games or a season or two, and then disappear back into the aether like an apparition. That was a regular occurence back in those days. I wasn’t there, but basketball-reference tells no lies.

I’m assuming that Guduric was pretty good in Europe, right? Played for a good team and put up some points? There would be no reason for him to just randomly show up on the Grizzlies roster if he wasn’t, you know, pretty good. Bad Euros don’t get to play in the NBA unless their name is Dragan Bender.

Editor’s note: sorry for uploading a 6-minute version of this vid featuring a ton of black nothingness followed by 40 seconds of random Hornets/Grizzlies game action. In my haste to showcase the best that Serbia has to offer, I failed to reach my own high standards of videography. My apologies.
