Terence Davis 15 Points Full Highlights (11/13/2019)

Raptors’ previous strategy for winning a championship: trade for an up-and-coming superstar and build around him.

Raptors’ current strategy for winning a championship: find a random undrafted guy, sign him, and play him 30 minutes so that he may become the next up-and-coming superstar.

I’m talking about Terence Davis here, but I could be talking about any number of Raptors players. Not Pascal Siakam, because he was drafted, but maybe Fred VanVleet. Maybe Chris Boucher. But definitely, Davis is the one who is the most Kawhi-esque. VanVleet is too short, Boucher is too tall, Davis is just right.

Wait, you’re telling me he’s 6’4″? Get out of here with that. No way. He’s taller than that. Really? Man, there goes all my sweet comparisons. We’ll have to default back to OG Anunoby being the Raptors’ next Kawhi, and Davis can be… someone else. The next DeMar DeRozan? Nah, that’s no good. Raptors fans don’t even want a next DeMar DeRozan. Maybe the next Ben Uzoh? That guy got a triple-double as a Raptor, don’t ever frickin’ forget that. And that was back when triple-doubles were actually rare too. Yeah, Davis is totally the next Ben Uzoh.
