Grayson Allen 13 Points Full Highlights (12/1/2019)

“b-b-b-B-B-BUT DEE TEE BEE!!!” you blurt unthinkingly into your viewing device. “G-g-g-Grayson Allen scored f-f-f-forty last season! How c-c-c-could you disr-r-r-respect him like th-th-that by uploading a video of h-h-him scoring just th-th-th-th-th-THIRTEEN?”

Silence yourself, fool, and leave this place. Allen’s forty-point game was a single isolated incident, never to be repeated. In forty minutes that game, the last game of the Jazz’s regular season, Allen took thirty shots (making eleven) and fourteen free throws (making thirteen). At no point during that game was either team’s coach making an honest attempt to field the best lineup. There were no penalties for Allen’s insatiable appetite for shot-taking.

Meanwhile, Allen played thirty minutes in this game (opposed to forty minutes in his career-high game) and only shot the ball nine times. When future minutes in future games are on the line, and when the game itself is on the line, Allen isn’t going to play like an unconscionable chucker and his expected points output will go way down. That’s why I made this video. Because it’s roughly in line with, but slightly better than, my expectations for Allen if/when he gets big minutes.

Plus, I wanted to show highlights of the seven different instances in this game where Allen blatantly tripped people.
