The Suns were up by 1 with nineteen seconds left, and won after some more garbage from the Hornets. The Hornets lost a game in a similarly tragic fashion against the Bulls a few games ago; they’ve been really clutch at times this season, but it seems like their Cinderella magic has run out and they’re turning back into a pumpkin.
Oubre is the hero of this win, for sure. 6 points in 40 seconds to steal a win sounds like something a certain droopy-eyed scoring superstar from the early 00’s would do. Yeah, I’m talking about Tracy McGrady, and not only am I talking about him, I’m comparing Oubre favorably to him. That’s how good Oubre was this game, and let’s just say the whole season.
