Nemanja Bjelica 17 Points/1 Game-Winner Full Highlights (12/9/2019)

One game after humiliating and emasculating “superstar” Luka Doncic with 30 points and a game-sealing poster dunk right on top of him (okay, the dunk was unguarded and kinda wimpy, but I’m imagining him postering Doncic and it’s a really awesome mental image and I want you all to join me), Nemanja Bjelica has done almost the exact same thing to “superstar” James Harden and the Houston Rockets. There were no dunks this time; instead, something even more filthy and disrespectful: a buzzer-beating game-winning three as time expired.

These are the best kind of game-winners. None of this “there’s still time left on the clock” BS, none of this “if he missed it would’ve gone into overtime anyway” or “he hit the shot at the buzzer but they were down by 30 so it didn’t matter at all”. This is the kind of shot that goes in to the top 10 plays of the year videos that the NBA puts out. Maybe it’ll miss the cut on that one (because it wasn’t from half court), but it’ll definitely make the top 10 Serbian plays of the year.

I really want to apologize for not including the postgame interview, I would’ve shown it, but I’ve seen vids get deleted over stuff like that (probably because the interview is the network’s property, not the NBA’s, or something), and I want to play it safe. So you don’t get to hear him say, and this is a direct quote not just me being funny: “Fuck it, we deserve this win man.” And you don’t get to hear if the interviewer responds with “Bjelica, we’re on live” followed by Bjelica saying “I don’t give a shit” while looking right into the camera. I’m really sorry about that. You can probably find it somewhere else on YouTube if you really want to hear it. It is rather glorious.

I also want to apologize for including naughty words in the description. I really try to avoid profanity, but that was a direct quote, I had no choice.
