Denzel Valentine 16 Points Full Highlights (12/14/2019)

Denzel Valentine had been dead for a very, very long time. It’s not often these days that players miss whole seasons due to injury (as compared to the old days, when medical technology was so primitive that stubbing your toe was a two-week kind of injury and any ligament damage at all was grounds for amputation), but that’s what happened to Valentine. I don’t even remember what the injury was, exactly, but it must have been pretty gnarly, because it took him out of commission for so long that I almost forgot he existed.

For reference, the last time I made a highlight vid for him was over a year and a half ago, in March of 2018. He scored a career-high 34 while I was on vacation, and I felt so guilty about missing out that I uploaded it super late. Little did I know that that would be the last time he would be featured on my channel… maybe forever.

Forever has officially come to an end, though, because apparently Valentine is still alive and ready to BALL OUT. He’s been playing a bit for the Bulls, sometimes scoring a few points, but this performance (despite its relatively low point total) is special: it features a clutch game-tying shot with under a minute left against one of the best teams in the league. Valentine is not the guy you expect to take those shots (Zach LaVine usually gets to take literally all of them), and the Clippers weren’t expecting it either, judging by their reactions after he made the shot.

The little shimmy he did after his clutch bucket was so good that I even gave you guys a replay of it.
