D.J. Augustin 22 Points Full Highlights (12/17/2019)

Allow me to take this time to revel in one of the few victories that life allots to me: I have more YouTube subscribers than D.J. Augustin. A LOT more. And he’s an NBA player! I’m just some meatball who makes videos for NBA players so I can mock them. There’s no reason more people should be subscribed to my YouTube channel, no matter how much content it churns out, than the channel of a real-life NBA player who really plays in the real NBA.

Augustin, you need to step up your social media game. The first step is to post videos more often. You only have 7 vids! That’s not enough. And they’re spread so far apart! I know it’s tough during the grind of the season to find time to create fresh, exciting content, but sacrifices have to be made if you want to be a YouTube celebrity. Just tell Clifford that you’re sick or whatever, and then spend that whole day off liveblogging yourself while lounging around the hotel room you’re staying in during the road trip and then review the food you get from room service. Easy! That’s the kind of content I would want to see from an NBA player, and actually, I don’t think I’m being sarcastic. I want to see NBA players review room service food really bad right now.

The fact that he is one of the most anonymous NBA players doesn’t help his channel either. I don’t know what the problem is there, but for some reason, he just has no fans. Most NBA players sort of have fans by default. Not Augustin. Didn’t he go to college? Where are the fans of his from his college days? What about high school? I think I saw something like he just got his jersey retired there, don’t they know he made the NBA and that they should be hyped for him?
