You know how hard it is to assemble a highlight video while watching a really intense Rockets-Clippers game at the same time? It’s hard. I don’t have nearly the screen real-estate to handle all the stuff that’s going on. My normal processes already take up all of my monitor space, there isn’t any to spare to watch Russell Westbrook go off on Paulina Georgette and Kawhload Leonmanagement.
But I persevered, and now I present to you the fruits of my labors: a video showing Jarrett Allen scoring 19 points and dishing 6 (!!!!) assists. The average highlight video of Allen does not attract much attention, probably because he does the same exact thing in all of them without any variation: dunk. Dunking is his thing, he does it more than almost anybody in the league, but without a few other things to spice things up, people quickly lose interest.
Those 6 assists are that spice, tonight. And a few of them were pretty good! He hit a couple cutters to the basket, that’s exactly what you want your bigman to be able to do and he did it. He also dunked it a lot, in case you were worried. I don’t think there will ever be an Allen video where he doesn’t dunk it.
