This highlight video of Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk hitting four three-pointers compares favorably to a classic DownToBuck highlight video which only true DTB acolytes will remember:
Chris Johnson 12 Points/4 Threes Full Highlights (1/28/2014).
You don’t get to watch it because my whole entire old channel got deleted (god damn it), but I still have access to this video in my archivium and it is awesome. At that point in his career, Johnson was on the Celtics, and they were playing the Knicks, who were apparently so good that they were blowing the C’s out by thirty points. Check out who else shared the court with Johnson in that game:
Jerryd Bayless
Phil Pressey
Kris Humphries
Vitor Faverani
Rookie Kelly Olynyk
Now, that video is sweet enough that I’m definitely going to reupload it for my Patreon patrons to watch (listening to Tommy Heinsohn sit there in angry silence makes it the most tolerable Celtics highlight video of the era), but this video might even be better because it has a free throw in it. We can’t say for certain that Mykhailiuk will have a better career than Johnson (Johnson did score 16 points in a game once) but we can at least say that they’re comparable. And what higher honor could there be than being almost as good as NBA legend Chris Johnson?
