Damion Lee 20 Points Full Highlights (12/31/2019)

Damion Lee’s last 6 games, all starts: 20, 14, 22, 16, 18, and 20 points. The Warriors’ record in those games: 4-2, including a Christmas win over Houston. I’m not about to anoint him the next Stephen Curry, because that would be stupid, but look at those point totals and that record and tell me that that’s not something Klay Thompson would totally do. That’s a totally reasonable run of Klay Thompson basketball, but it’s not Klay Thompson, it’s The Cacodamion.

Honestly, at this point in his career, we should be expecting consistent scoring output from Lee. He’s already 27 years old, I know that seems weird, but it’s the truth. And when you get to be around that age, that’s when you should’ve probably established yourself as a role-player at least. Otherwise it’s probably not going to happen.

So the Warriors have their temporary Klay Thompson replacement, and they already have their temporary (this one is actually more than temporary, he’s not walking back through that door) Kevin Durant replacement (Alec Burks), Draymond Green is still alive and doesn’t need a replacement, but what about the Stephen Curry replacement? Ky Bowman isn’t cutting it.

Jimmer Fredette is still waiting on another NBA contract. Just saying.
