Dorian “Distributed File System” Finney-Smith has established himself in the league as a defender and low-volume scorer. At least, I assume that he has established himself. Since this is his fourth year in the league, he has two years left on his contract, and I’m not hearing any chatter about him having to play in Europe, that all points to him being an established NBA player now. Soon we’ll even be calling him a veteran.
I can’t say I watched this game, but it’s safe to assume that DFS made a big impact on a Mavericks win that was anything but guaranteed after being down by double digits for part of the first half. In this game, DFS stood for more than just “Dorian Finney-Smith”:
