Kendrick Nunn 33 Points Full Highlights (1/15/2020)

Kendrick Nunn may not win the ROTY of the Year Award, but that’s not the only award the NBA has to offer. There are plenty of other trophies out there that could be his. MVP? If he starts chucking like we all know he wants to, I can see it. Finals MVP? That’s even more likely, all that needs to happen is that the Heat get to the Finals and win while he scores 30 points per game. MIP Improved Player? This dude wasn’t even in the league last year and now he’s scoring 15 per game, that’s what I call improved. The NBA Sportsmanship Award? No one knows who has won this one in any of its 25 years of existence, but Nunn totally has tons of sportsmanship. Give it to him, why not, he needs an award and if they don’t want to give him any of the others why not this one?

If the NBA still doesn’t see fit to award him some sort of trophy (which seems likely), DownToBuck is coming in to save the day. He has created the URWICFALPT (pronounced “er-wick-falpt”) award that recognizes excellence in the realm of playing NBA basketball. If you’re a total dummy, the acronym stands for “Undrafted Rookie Who Is Contributing For A Legit Playoff Team”. His only competition for this award is basically Chris Silva.

I went to my local trophy place and the prices were, frankly, offensively extortionate, so I’m making my own trophy which I will send to him once the season is over and the votes are tabulated. The full list of voters is a secret, but it does include me and my little kitty Japurri Purrker (who knows a lot about the NBA). It’s going to be a real sweet trophy. For the base I used the bowling trophy I got for merely participating in a league in elementary school, but you can’t even see the little bowler man on it because of how much cool stuff I put on it.

Nunn’s 33 points in this win against the Spurs only further solidifies his case for the UWEICFALPT award.
