Kevin Huerter 19 Points/8 Assists Full Highlights (2/29/2020)

I am looking at the Hawks roster right now, and I am seeing all the young talent that they have, and I am freaking out right now. Someone needs to give me some reasons right now as to why they won’t be competing for a championship in 3 years, otherwise I’m going to go ahead and say that they will be competing for a championship in 3 years. Anybody? Anybody? Even one reason will do. No? Then I’m going to say it:

The Hawks will be competing for a championship in 3 years.

Everyone is all excited about Trae Young, and of course he’s a total beast who is basically the next Stephen Curry. And they’re all excited about John Collins who is a stud who can score and rebound like prime Karl Malone. And everyone knows that Cam Reddish is the next Paul George. De’Andre Hunter? 4th overall pick people, don’t sleep.

And then we’ve got Kevin Huerter. He’s sometimes kind of forgotten amongst all the other primo young talent that inhabits the Hawks’ roster, but he’s still there and providing SOLIDITY to the proceedings. A nice amount of scoring mixed in with some playmaking, nothing too flashy, just buckets scored from all areas of the court. If he refines his game and ups his volume a bit (might be hard with Young presumably only shooting more shots as his career goes on), he can totally be a white Khris Middleton. And Khris Middleton is about to win a chip as the number two option.
