Christian Wood continues his aptly-named “Demolition Tour ’20” with another demolition of yet another team, this time the New York Knickers. His teammates failed to step up and the Pistons only scored 84 points in their loss to the inferior New York team, but I don’t think that minimizes the quality of this demolition. In fact, I think it raises the quality of this demolition. Think how much harder Wood would have dominated if the Knicks’ defense, such as it is, didn’t just key in on him the entire game.
Wood has been getting videos nonstop on my channel for the past month and a half and I’m not tired of him yet. By my rough estimate, I’ve made a highlight video for thirteen of his last fourteen games. Twenty points is like nothing for him now. He can score twenty points with one leg chopped off at the knee and getting octuple-teamed by the entire opposing squad AND the three refs.
I’ve fully bought in to the Woodsanity. I’m even making shirts with Wood’s face on them that say “Woodsanity” and selling them out of a van at flea markets. I’m pretty sure it’s not illegal to use somebody’s likeness in that way. And if it is, well, it’s not like I’ve made any sales yet so technically I haven’t made any money off his likeness.
