Tim Hardaway Jr. 24 Points Full Highlights (7/31/2020)

If this is how the NBA is going to be from now on, I can dig it. The Mavericks lost this one against the Rockets 149-153 (at least it was overtime, so that total isn’t as redonk as it seems at first glance), and I don’t think a single cumulative possession of defense was played by either team. Maybe a few individual players occasionally attempted to stop their assignment from scoring, but as a team-wide effort? No way.

At some point, all this scoring is going to get tiresome and even the defense-averse DownToBuck will become annoyed at all the extra highlight vids he has to make due to the inflated scoring. But for now, yeah, give me dem buckets. I love buckets. They should rename the game to bucketball.

Tim Hardaway Jr.’s point total, considering the final score of the game and how quickly he accumulated the points he did score, is kind of disappointing. He hit the 24-point mark a few minutes into the third quarter, and that was it. He’s basically the reason the Mavericks lost the game, right? All he had to do was scrape together a single, solitary point during the whole remainder of the game and it wouldn’t have even gone into overtime.
