Jeff Green 22 Points Full Highlights (8/4/2020)

Jeff Green, somehow, is still only 33 years old. I think the fact that he was a rookie with the Supersonics is distorting my view of him. I mean, he was on the Supersonics. You know, that team that was in Seattle a million years ago? And if he’s been around long enough to be on that team, that means he’s at least 40, right? I guess not.

Another thing that made me think he’s older than he actually is: he looked totally washed with the Jazz earlier this season.

But now he’s playing a fairly big role for a championship contender (attention Rockets fans: please find the like button below and slap that thing like it called Harden overrated), and looking way better doing it than he has in years. It helps that he’s tasked with basically no shot-creation duties of his own, but he looks absolutely SPRY on some of his finishes at the rim. Does 74 percent from two-point range sound good to you? Those are Mitchell Robinson numbers right there.

Except Mitchell Robinson can’t also shoot 42 percent from three. Is it too late to vote for him for the inter-season MIP award? The one you give to players who sucked bad at the beginning of the season and then got way better in a new situation?
