At this point, the only reason I make Dillon Brooks videos anymore is because I KNOW that the thumbnails are going to be good. The video itself isn’t going to be good, and the video description isn’t going to be good, but the thumbnail image? Guaranteed goodness.
Remember, all three of those things are equal parts of the art that I am creating. The vid, the thumbnail, and the ‘scription. To the untrained eye, it may seem like those parts are unequal, but I’m the one creating the art here. Not you. And I know how my art is assembled, and it is a union of three parts, separate, but united. Each uniquely beautiful in its own way.
In some cases, the description is the only thing that’s any good. I’ve uploaded tons of stuff where that’s the case. In other cases, the video is the only that I can say that I’m proud of. Again, happens all the time. More rarely does this particular scenario occur, where all one needs to do to get the full impact of my art is to view the thumbnail image.
I apologize if you read this description or watched the video. But I apologize not at all for the thumbnail.
