Donta Hall 11 Points Full Highlights (8/5/2020)

Prior to the bubble, Donta Hall had scored one bucket this season. It was for the Pistons, and let me tell you: it kinda sucked. And not only because it was for the Pistons. I was analyzing dunks for inclusion in the end-of-month dunkilations, a process that requires me to view every dunk that gets dunked in the NBA, and Hall was there. “Dunking” it. It was not a very good dunk. And, if the Nets hadn’t miraculously snatched him to fill out their injury-depleted roster for the NBA restart, it might have stood as his sole NBA bucket. Forever.

It’s a big jump from “one career bucket that wasn’t very good” to “getting a highlight video from one of YouTube’s most respected (and attractive) creators”, but Hall has now made that jump, and I’m PUMPED. No one else is PUMPED, as far as I can tell, even Hall himself seems ambivalent about the situation, but I’m PUMPED. HARD PUMP.

11 points, 4 buckets, I was actually thinking about doing a vid for him scoring 9 in his Nets debut but I’m glad I waited. I know I’ve said many times that I would try as hard as possible to make every upload of mine at least a minute long, and usually I can at least get close, but it wasn’t happening this time. Normally there’s at least one replay I can use to draw things out, but this game was on ESPN. They fail to show replays of exciting plays on a regular basis, so expecting them to show replays of Hall doing anything is foolhardy.
