I thought I wanted the NBA to return, but after seeing that, I’m not so sure. Maybe we can just go back to it being the offseason and forget that this whole Orlando bubble thing ever happened. Give me the draft. I’m ready for the draft.
This is why NBA ratings aren’t doing so hot right now. Not because of politics or cord-cutters or anything like that. But because the Lakers just rolled over and died, and because Ben McLemore weakly dunked it on a three-on-zero fast break to give him 20 points. You think the casual fan wants to see that? Not even a hardcore fan wants to see that.
I hear baseball’s doing really good right now. Maybe I should pivot my channel to making baseball highlights. Is there even such a thing? Baseball highlights? I don’t even know. I guess I’ll find out once I’ve changed my channel name to HomeBrew Highlights.
