DaQuan Jeffries 13 Points/2 Dunks Full Highlights (8/9/2020)

The video I uploaded right before this one depicted Austin Rivers scoring a career high 41 points. As I type this, that video is gaining views at an astronomical rate. The sweet nectar of success has splashed upon my lips, and yet…

THIS video is what DownToBuck is really about. Scrubs on bad teams scoring an amount of points which is low in the grand scheme of the NBA, but high in the smaller context of their career. You would think I’d be more hyped for Rivers dropping a forty-burger, but no…I’m more hyped for this dude named DaQuan Jeffries dropping a thirteen-burger in what is the best peformance of his nascent NBA career.

Alright, maybe that’s a lie. The Rivers video had me pretty hyped. But I’m not joking around when I say that this performance is in more in line with the DTB ethos than Rivers’ performance was. Jeffries is trying to find his footing in the NBA (not an easy task when you’re on one of the most mismanaged franchises in the league) and, in this game, he found it. Maybe he didn’t have really solid ground underneath his feet, but he did find his footing and that’s all that matters.

Now that the Kings have nothing to play for and only two more games to go, I’ve got high hopes for this dude. Let’s make it fifteen, baby! Hell yeah!
