Frank Mason 19 Points/6 Assists Full Highlights (8/11/2020)

So the biggest news to come out of this game is that, in a moment of weakness, Giannis decided to headbutt Mo Wagner. That was a dumb move on his part and he’s totally gonna get suspended for it. I’m not a sports psychologist but I can only imagine that having to look at Wagner’s annoying-looking lips was the last straw for Giannis. I personally have headbutted my computer monitors many times when Wagner’s lips appear on screen.

Frank Mason should have been the one to headbutt Wagner, honestly (assuming Wagner was truly deserving of a headbutt, which he probably wasn’t). Mason is expendable, and he’s really short too so watching him headbutt a guy who’s a foot taller than him would be awesome. It’s like when they got that famous little person (don’t know his name) to do a bunch of dumb stuff on the MTV show Jackass. Mason could be that little guy doing dumb stuff, and my exasperation with him would be kept to a minimum because he could get suspended for 25 games and it wouldn’t affect Bud’s playoff rotations one iota.

Instead of cranially assaulting opposing players, Mason spent most of this game racking up stats and generally having the best game he’s had since his rookie season in Sacramento. I don’t want to say that this is a Tim Frazier situation, because it totally isn’t, but this is totally a Tim Frazier situation. Tim Frazier was on the Bucks for a while but was underutilized despite his skill. Mason is underutilized because he’s not very good. Also both of them are short. Clearly, the comparison is there.

OFFICIAL DTB MINUTES PREDICTION: Frank Mason will get exactly fourteen minutes combined during the entire playoffs, which is twelve minutes more than he would have gotten had he not just had this breakout game.
