Do I have any kind of official or unofficial FG% cutoff for player highlight videos? If I do, it can’t be lower than 33%, can it? I would consult the OFFICIAL DTB POLICY BINDER to see I have any official policies regarding field goal percentage requirements, but I actually lost the binder while moving stuff around my place. It’s a big binder and my place isn’t very big at all, so I have no idea how I lost it, but I did. Either that or aliens stole it so that they could learn my secrets. Jokes on you, aliens. My secrets are useless to alien civilizations because alien civilizations don’t have basketball, YouTube, or Pop Tarts.
Anyway, this video is getting made regardless of my policy, because Rui Hachimura is a widely-beloved rookie and he scored twenty, which is a legit amount of points no matter what kind of mean-spirited mathematical machinations you apply to his game. And you can’t argue that the shots he DOES make in this video are quite aesthetic. I’m sure the misses are less aesthetic, but you don’t get to see those.
