Out of the 22 videos I made for the games that occurred on August 11, the video I made for Wes Iwundu is among the worst performing, currently sitting at 357 views. Only the Alec Burks, Tim Hardaway Jr., Ish Smith, Khem Birch, Frank Jackson, and Jerome Robinson videos are performing worse. Even though Iwundu scored 18 points, one off his season high in points, nobody really cared.
So forgive me for being pessimistic about the view count prospects of this video. Fifteen points represents Iwundu’s third-best scoring game of the season, and six assists is a career high for him, but the viewers have voted with their eyeballs, and their vote says “we don’t care about Wes Iwundu even if he is putting up impressive statistical performances that considerably surpass his career norms”. And now I’m casting my own vote which reads, “my viewers don’t know what a good video is and would rather watch Cameron Payne scoring fifteen points so they can make fun of him”.
