Michael Porter Jr. 15 Points Full Highlights (9/9/2020)

We’re going to go ahead and blame ‘Ggets coach Mike Malone for the fact that Michael Porter Jr. didn’t score any points in the second half. If you have other people you’d like to blame, you can post them in the comments, as long as they’re not MPJ, who is absolutely 100 percent blameless.

Malone has been a convenient scapegoat in the past, a past which featured Porter getting hardly any minutes at all despite being a certified scoring stud. Malone was clearly in the wrong back then; Porter has produced consistently when given consistent minutes. It is now time for him to be the scapegoat again. Because I need a reason for Porter’s lack of second-half production.

Another reason for that could be that Nikola Jokic was freezing him out of the offense. Or that The Bubb is finally getting to him and he can’t handle the lack of a crowd. Or that Kawhi Leonard/Paul George/Patrick Beverley/Patrick Patterson locked him down. But look at all those reasons. Those hardly seem like the cause, when it’s clear that Malone STILL hates him after all these months and is willing to sabotage his own playoff chances to punish him.

Something needs to change. The Bucks (RIP In Peace) hereby offer one (1) mint-condition Thon Maker and one (1) lightly-used Marvin Williams for one (1) MPJ. This is the perfect trade for both teams, so perfect that I don’t even need to go into how perfect it is. It just works so well for all parties. And don’t believe Williams when he says he’s retiring. He was just kidding about that.
