Kyle Anderson Career High 20 Points Full Highlights (12/26/2020)

Can you believe that Kyle Anderson’s career high is only twenty points? He’s been around for a long time now, and it’s not like he’s the most pitiful scorer ever, but his point-production glands just don’t produce that many points. This is his fourth time scoring twenty, and I’ve given up hope that he will ever score more than that. That’s somewhat painful for me to say, as one of the original Kyle Anderson believers (I wanted my Bucks to draft him way back when, and I was also roughly 40% sure that he would average a triple-double for at least one season), but I’ve come to terms with it.

It fills me with joy to observe that Anderson scores in EVERY POSSIBLE WAY in this video. He just does it slowly. Somehow, the slowness makes it more impressive. Is there any player in the league who is more under control than Anderson? He is the definition of playing “under control”. None of his limbs ever do anything unexpected and every movement is perfectly calculated to result in a win for his team. Compare that to somebody like Thon Maker, whose limb movements seem to be determined by a random number generator, and whose on-court movements are just as likely to benefit the opposing team as they are to benefit his own team.

Also of note: a career-high fourteen rebounds for Anderson in this game. Kyle Anderson, as they say, have it all. He has always had it all, but not all of us could see that he had it all.
