Out of all the things I crave in my life, there is one thing that I crave above all others:

Revenge games.

Yes, my craving for REVENGE in the form of NBA players spanking their former teams is greater than even my craving for chicken wings with blue cheese dippy sauce. Every time an NBA player faces off against a team that they had previously played for, I circle the date on my calendar, and I double circle it if I think the player in question has a good chance of going ham. Jeff Green didn’t get a double circle, but he did go ham on the ‘Zards; not only did he set a season high in points, but also surpassed all single-game point totals that he amassed last season. That is true REVENGE and it excites me in ways that the touch of a woman never could.

I’m glad Green was able to provide a properly vengeful serving of REVENGE to my revenge-starved psyche, because some of the other REVENGE GAME candidates from last night simply did not come through. Terrence Ross scoring four points against the Raptors in 28 minutes? That’s pathetic. That’s like the opposite of revenge, to play so badly against your former team that your negative on-court presence actually helps them win the game. Likewise, Austin Rivers scored just four points against the Clippers. What’s up with these guys and failing to administer the gratuitous amounts of REVENGE that I need to function as a human being?
