This is the fifth Dejounte Murray I’ve made this season. Normally, that wouldn’t be noteworthy in the slightest, but, this season, that’s extremely noteworthy, since I am making far fewer videos now than I was in past seasons. A lot of perfectly eligible players have yet to receive their deserved DTB highlightage this season, partially due to the fact that Dejounte Murray is monopolizing my time and energy. I highly doubt that any player has had more coverage on my channel this season than Murray has. I could check, but I don’t feel like undermining my narrative.
Equality is a big buzzword these days, and I think I need to start introducing some into my “which-videos-should-I-make” criteria. Murray’s had a lot of good games this season and has certainly earned every highlight video I’ve made for him, but I’m getting a bit tired of him. I want fresh faces, even if those fresh faces aren’t regularly dropping point totals in the high 20’s on a steady diet of middy jimmies.
For example, I would honestly consider making a highlight video of Trey Lyles scoring 17 over a highlight video of Murray scoring 28 at this point. That’s how real this is. That’s how real I’m being right now. Really real.
