Man, this Dick Vitale/Bill Walton commentating combo was pretty much totally awful/sweet. I can’t tell which. I think a basketball game happened at some point between Vitale’s ecstatic moaning and Walton’s strangely earnest ramblings. Again, it’s hard to tell.
Kyle Korver scored 22 points amidst the chaos, dropping in a bunch of threes while that one commentator who wasn’t one of the two crazy ones was trying to keep everything from going off the rails. A valiant effort, but he wasn’t successful. Actually, if he hadn’t been there, we probably wouldn’t have received any acknowledgement of Korver’s on-court actions besides the aforementioned moaning.
Korver also dunked, but the momentous-ness of the occasion was lost on Vitale, who was to busy talking about how good of a fit Derrick Williams is on the Cavs. Yeah, we know you have a man-boner for that dude, but can you please recognize that Korver threw down one of his very few dunks of the year?
